Custom event shirts for a fixed date, from 10 pieces

The organizer's problem: a short run and a hard deadline
Event shirts live or die on two numbers: how many you actually need, and the date you need them by. Registration is still open, sponsors come in late, and the volunteer count changes twice. Large print shops want a big committed quantity up front. Order too many and you store boxes of last year's race. Order too few and someone goes without.
DYEWAVE works in batches of 10 to 200. Order close to your real count — a race crew of 30, a tournament field of 120, a reunion group of 45 — and if the event grows, a second batch in the same design is a normal order, not a special favor.
One design, every size, full color
Event artwork usually carries a lot: a logo, a date, a sponsor row, sometimes a course map or a class year. Sublimation prints all of it in full color, seam to seam, with no per-color or per-location setup charges changing the math as the design grows.
In sublimation, heat turns the ink into a gas that dyes the 100% polyester fibers. The design becomes part of the fabric:
- Nothing to crack or peel — the shirts hold up as keepsakes, not just race-day wear
- A soft hand: you cannot feel the print on the shirt
- All-over printing, so front, back and sleeves are one continuous design
- Light, quick-drying polyester suited to race day and outdoor events
How ordering works against a deadline
Send your design
artwork, quantity, sizes, and your event date. The date matters: put it in the first message.
Approve the proof
we send a digital mockup. Nothing is made until you approve it. This is also where we flag any design and fabric color combination that will not show well.
Pay one invoice
one invoice from our US company, shipping and duties included.
Production
5–10 days to print and pack.
Air delivery
about 9 days by air, duties paid, to your US address.
Plan on about 2–3 weeks from proof approval to delivery. If your date is closer than that, ask anyway and we will tell you honestly whether it works — we will not promise a date we cannot plan around.
Pricing
10–49 shirts: $18 per shirt, delivered duty paid.
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means air shipping and US import duties are already in the price. No surprise charges when the box arrives — useful when an event budget has to be approved in advance.
50–200 shirts: quoted on request. Send your quantity, design and event date for a per-shirt quote.
Honest limits, stated up front
Sublimation only works on polyester; we do not make cotton shirts. Sublimation colors are transparent, so designs look brightest on white and light fabrics. We offer 8 fabric colors, and we will tell you at the proof stage if your artwork will not read well on the color you picked. A design change at proof stage costs nothing but a little time — after printing, it cannot be fixed, which is exactly why the proof step exists.
Common questions
What kinds of events do you make shirts for?
Races, tournaments, reunions and fundraisers — any event that needs a short run of matching custom shirts, from 10 to 200 pieces.
What is the minimum order?
10 shirts per design. Orders of 10 to 200 pieces are our focus.
How far ahead should I order before my event?
Plan on about 2–3 weeks from proof approval: 5–10 days of production plus about 9 days of air delivery. Send your event date with your quote request so we can plan around it.
How much do event shirts cost?
$18 per shirt for 10–49 pieces, delivered duty paid to a US address. For 50–200 pieces, send your details for a quote.
Can the design include sponsors and a lot of colors?
Yes. Sublimation prints full color, seam to seam, so sponsor logos and detailed artwork are part of the same print — there is no extra charge per color in the design.
