Who orders ultimate jerseys from us
Open, women's and mixed rosters ordering a light and a dark set for the season.
Player sets plus alumni and supporter jerseys in the same design, on one invoice from a US company. W-9 available for vendor setup.
One design per team color for city and rec leagues, every team proofed before printing.
Event jerseys for every player, plus volunteer and staff shirts in the same artwork.
Light and dark sets
Ultimate teams usually need a light jersey and a dark jersey so that opposing teams can be told apart. With sublimation, color is dyed into white polyester, so a dark jersey is made by printing the dark color across the whole shirt, seam to seam. That makes the light and dark jerseys two designs from the same artwork, and each design is priced and counted on its own.
A team of 18 ordering both sets orders 36 jerseys: 18 light and 18 dark, each set at $29, for $1,044 delivered duty paid. Every player keeps the same name and number on both sets.
Want a colored fabric instead? We offer 8 fabric colors. Sublimation inks are transparent, so light artwork will not show on dark fabric; if a combination will not work, we flag it on the proof before anything is printed.
Loud designs cost the same as plain ones
Ultimate culture loves loud, full-color jerseys: gradients, photo prints, patterns and inside jokes. Sublimation has no extra cost per color, so a full-bleed design costs the same as a simple logo. Send your artwork, an AI-generated design, or ask for our free design service.
Every DYEWAVE jersey carries a small DYEWAVE mark on the sleeve and at the back neck, as shown. Everything else is printed exactly from the proof you approve.
Names, numbers and league rules
Each player's name and number is part of the artwork at no extra charge, on both sets. If your league or tournament has number rules (number size, front and back numbers, contrasting colors), send them with your artwork and we design the proof to match. Collect names, numbers and sizes with the free roster builder; it flags duplicate numbers before you send the list. Prefer a spreadsheet? Use the Excel roster template.

Timing for tournaments and seasons
After you approve the digital proofs, production takes 5–10 days, then about 9 days by air, so jerseys typically arrive 14–19 days after approval. Honest limits
Sublimation only works on polyester, so we do not make cotton jerseys. We make single-layer jerseys, not reversibles, and we do not make shorts. Sublimation inks are transparent, so designs look brightest on white and light fabrics; we flag any design and fabric color that will not work at the proof stage, before anything is printed. The minimum is 7 jerseys per design for all-over sublimation, and 10 shirts per design for logo customization.
Common questions
What is the minimum order for custom ultimate jerseys?
7 jerseys per design for all-over sublimation, in batches up to 200. A light set and a dark set are two designs, so each set needs at least 7. If you only need your team logo on a shirt, logo shirts start at 10 per design.
How much do custom ultimate frisbee jerseys cost?
All-over sublimation jerseys are $29 each for 7–29, $25 for 30–49 and $22 for 50+, priced per design. Logo shirts are $18 each for 10–49. All prices are delivered duty paid to a US address.
How much does a light and dark set cost for a team of 18?
Two designs of 18 jerseys each: 36 jerseys at $29 = $1,044, delivered duty paid. Use the estimator on this page and tick the light and dark box to price your own roster.
How do you make a dark jersey?
Sublimation dyes color into white polyester, so a dark jersey is printed with the dark color across the whole shirt, seam to seam. It is a separate design from the light jersey, made from the same artwork.
Can each player have a different name and number?
Yes. Names and numbers are part of the artwork at no extra charge, on both sets. Collect them, with each player's size, using the free roster builder; it flags duplicate numbers.
Our league has number rules. Can you follow them?
Yes. Send your league or tournament rules (number size, front and back numbers, contrasting colors) with your artwork and we design the proof to match.
Do more colors cost more?
No. Sublimation prints full color at the same price, so gradients, photos and patterns cost the same as a one-color logo.
Do you make reversible jerseys?
No. We make single-layer sublimated jerseys. Teams that want two colors order a light set and a dark set.
Do you make shorts?
No. We make the jerseys only.
Can league organizers order one design per team?
Yes. Each team color is its own design, so each needs 7 jerseys for all-over sublimation or 10 for logo shirts. Send the team list with sizes and we proof every design.
How long does an order take?
About 14–19 days after you approve the proof: 5–10 days production plus about 9 days by air. Use the deadline calculator to find the last day to approve for a tournament or season start.
Can I use AI-generated artwork?
Yes. Send artwork from an AI image tool or your own design and we print it edge to edge. We check it and send a digital proof before anything is printed.
Will the DYEWAVE logo be on our jerseys?
Yes. Every jersey carries a small DYEWAVE mark on the sleeve and at the back neck, as in the examples on this page. The rest of the jersey is your design, printed from the proof you approve.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Yes. Prices on this page are delivered to a US address; other destinations are quoted per order.
